Queries - Ancestors surname beginning with E
Ebentheur, Sebastian

Sebastian EBENTHEUR died 30 Aug 1903 in Hartford, CT. His obituary states he was a member of the Harugari Society. Is this a German fraternal society or something more? Some sources indicate he was buried in Zion Hill Cem. in Hartford, but they have no record of his grave. Is it possible the Harugari Society had a plot for its members? Any help is appreciated.

Epp, (unknown)

About four years ago, Oberlin College had a site that contained information on early Palatines in NY. One EPP was in the list, but the site has either changed its address or is no longer viable. Does anyone know anything about that site, or about such a list? Does a copy or a list of those early NY Palatines reside in our Pal-Am Library? How can I get a copy?
